This Privacy Policy describes how Daniel Fenton, a sole proprietor in Washington, DC ("we," "us"), handles information collected through the Chef SMS service operated at chef.dmfenton.net. Chef is a private, invitation-only SMS-based meal-planning assistant for a small group of friends and family.

We use Twilio Inc. as our SMS delivery provider. Twilio processes message content solely to deliver messages between you and the service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subprocessors who support the service (such as Twilio for message delivery) is permitted. All other categories of use exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the operator or others.

Retention

We retain your phone number, message content, and metadata for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing info@dmfenton.net.
